Use the service responsibly
OpenLiveChat supports legitimate customer communication and related workflows. You are responsible for your account, authorised users, connected services and the content you submit. Use only data and accounts you are entitled to access.
Prohibited conduct
Do not use the service to:
- Send unlawful spam, run scams, impersonate others deceptively, phish for credentials or distribute malware.
- Harass, threaten or exploit people, or upload or distribute illegal content.
- Access another workspace without permission, bypass security or rate limits, or deliberately disrupt the service.
- Upload stolen data, unnecessary passwords or full card details, or content that infringes privacy or intellectual-property rights.
- Misrepresent AI as a guaranteed authority or rely on the service for emergency assistance.
Fair use
Use the allowance shown for your plan. If sustained usage exceeds that allowance or disproportionately affects other customers, we may contact you to agree on an upgrade, a usage arrangement or proportionate limits. We will not charge an additional usage fee without explaining the price and obtaining your agreement. Immediate safeguards may apply to abuse or a security risk.
Reports and enforcement
Report suspected misuse or a security concern to privacy@openlivechat.com. Include the affected website or workspace, relevant dates and enough detail to locate the issue, while avoiding unnecessary personal data. Do not send passwords, payment-card details or copies of unlawful material.
We may investigate reports and restrict affected functionality proportionately. Where safe and lawful, we explain the action and give the account holder an opportunity to respond. Urgent risks or legal requirements may require immediate action. If you believe an action was mistaken, contact the same address with the relevant account or report reference.
